Subang

Hmm.....I've been wondering.....Why is it that the Subang youth are being targeted by the church people? Why are we more despised (or given more attention) than the other youth's? Are we that great? Are we that special? Is it because Uncle Gary is in our cell? Is it because my father talks too much for their liking during meetings? I suspect that the ones that are mainly being targeted are Benjamin, Daniel , and I.What have we done to receive such rude and crude comments? Is it because we know too much?Is it because we talk too much? Is it because we move around during service too much? What have we done to receive this kind of prejudice? The looks on peoples faces when we are up on the stage. Or even when we go to the toilet we get mean and weird stares. Anyone would stare if we went to the toilet together at one time but that only happened once. However , we get the weird looks eventhough we just reply to nature's call. Why is this injustice happening? I do pray that I am just overreacting and that everything is a product of an overactive mind. Anyone reading this please post a message or comment to identify this issue.

Anyway,
All Glory and Honour and Praise be unto Jesus Christ the Lamb that was slain for you and for me to give us a life full of LIFE!!!

Love,
Justin Kang

  1. chill justin. u MIGHT be a tad bit overly sensitive... Christ died for you to have a full life.... so live it loud, live it to the fullest. never ever come under the shadow of self-doubt, guilt and depression or what others might think of you... so live. live joyfully and spirit-led. don't give a (excuse me) damn about what people say that might hurt you... (of course being "considerate" is an entirely different thing from what i'm talking about here lol)

  2. I was trying to be like my mentor who thinks the whole problem is because of him....HAH....such conceitedness....

However I still do think what I said and perceived is true

  3. Justin, it's ok if people look at us cause they just want to pick an issue out of us to fight on. Next time if possible, if you feel that they give you "the look", just smile back them, be proud that Jesus accepted us just as we are. Sometimes we just have to check our self whether is there anything that might cause people to feel uneasy at us.

One thing i have to say is that try not to talk during service,I'm not directing at you la, haha. I've been observing and i think this is the problem of the youth as a whole(even myself)(not pointing to anyone). We must learn to respect people during e.g service, prayer meeting and especially during "worship rehearsal", i think we should come with the heart of seriousness, yes we play at times, but not always ya...

I know it's hard cause mentally we are playful, i think this is a habit we should have coming to His presence, even when doing Rehearsal, we are still inviting His presence. It's like disrespectful la. You get what I'm saying?

Hopefully you understand, any problem just reply la, haha...

  4. If there's anything I learned this past few months, its this: Everyone will have everthing to say about us so if us care about what each of them say, we'll go bananas! Haha..

  5. Justin, what do you reckon?..if i was still in church, would be i one of the ones that ppl dont like?..

coz you know me, now knowing the Truth, you can spot error a mile away, and i would make noise as well. (quite a lot of noise..paul-style-'you foolish Galations'-kinda-noise)..haha!

but chill man, like Joseph said, He came to give you Life and Life more abundantly. So, don't let anyone take it away from you.

See it as an honour to be persecuted for preaching Christ, just like Paul. You're in good company man.

    :)
