Context, context!

Romans 8:1 ;
"For there is therefore now NO condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus."

Yes, we've read that verse a zillion times but do we still see it as a fresh each time we read it? Or has it become a cliche.

Why can't so many Christians see the obvious fact- that there is therefore now no condemnation for us who are in Jesus.PERIOD.

As people get more "advanced" in the faith, they tend to re-interpret this verse by saying that sin can separate us from His love. Yes,someone had actually said that statement during one of the Wednesday's prayer meet. How blind could that person be? Go figure. Isn't it so crystal clear from the verses below?

Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Rom 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

So friends, lets continue holding on to our faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour and lets read and digest His word without adding our own twist to it.

Lets not try to be smart and add to or subtract from His Word. I shall end with these verses dedicated especially to those people who twist the Word of God to their own liking and add some "juice" in here and there.

Pro 9:6 Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.

2Co 4:5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

Subang

Hmm.....I've been wondering.....Why is it that the Subang youth are being targeted by the church people? Why are we more despised (or given more attention) than the other youth's? Are we that great? Are we that special? Is it because Uncle Gary is in our cell? Is it because my father talks too much for their liking during meetings? I suspect that the ones that are mainly being targeted are Benjamin, Daniel , and I.What have we done to receive such rude and crude comments? Is it because we know too much?Is it because we talk too much? Is it because we move around during service too much? What have we done to receive this kind of prejudice? The looks on peoples faces when we are up on the stage. Or even when we go to the toilet we get mean and weird stares. Anyone would stare if we went to the toilet together at one time but that only happened once. However , we get the weird looks eventhough we just reply to nature's call.Why is this injustice happening? I do pray that I am just overreacting and that everything is a product of an overactive mind. Anyone reading this please post a message or comment to identify this issue.

Anyway,
All Glory and Honour and Praise be unto Jesus Christ the Lamb that was slain for you and for me to give us a life full of LIFE!!!

Love,
