You

Years have gone by,
Many a season have passed,
Yet your beauty so divine,
Still remains unsurpassed.

Like a summer's day,
I shall never compare you to,
For you are more lovely and temperate,
And summer is but a fleeting passage,
A momentary visage,
Which ends as soon as it begins.

Your beauty encompasses your entire being,
Much more than what is seen,
Much more than what is perceived,
More than all I could ever be.

At a great loss is anyone,
Who doesn't see you,
The way you should be seen,
Who doesn't love you,
The way you should be loved.

For who can ever know you,
And yet not love you?
And who can ever gaze at you,
And yet not be mesmerized?
