Rep in near attack

Rep in near attack

PETALING JAYA: Subang Jaya assemblyman Hannah Yeoh escaped a possible attack while driving along USJ11/1G yesterday morning.

The DAP rep said in her blog that she was slowing down towards a speed bump on the road at 9.30am when a motorcyclist suddenly appeared on her right.

“He was about to take a weapon from underneath his shirt to attack me. I could not see if it was a pistol, a knife or a hammer, and all I could do at that time was to honk continuously,” she said, adding that she was shocked by the incident.

Yeoh said that blaring her horn probably scared off the motorcyclist, who promptly rode away.

She later lodged a report at the USJ police station and sent out an alert to inform Subang Jaya residents of the danger and for them to look out for suspicious motorcyclists following their cars.

Yeoh said she hoped that the attack was not “politically motivated” and believed that it was purely criminal.

Dear all, please be careful when you are driving, leaving house, or going back home....Look around you before you get out from your car, if you are fetching people home, make sure that the person get into the house before driving off. Honk to alert if you see something fishy.
