Mother's Day Poem

This is a poem that was written by me for Mother's Day

When we are naughty,
Your patience increases greatly,
To make us better when we grow,
You discipline us the best ways you know,

Forgive us when we make you mad,
We know that that makes you sad,
After that, it definitely makes us feel bad,
Please be patient, we need time to adapt,

Mother's are a gift from God,
You are so very dear to us,
Maybe because you are our nurse,
When we are sick or worse,

Thank you for your presence,
You always give a soothing fragrance,
Love is of your essence,
Your whole being is of an importance,

Please know that we always love you,
You who taught us, disciplined us, cared for us, listened to us, loved us and have done so much for us,
We can't comprehend your love for us until we've become parents,
But we really appreciate you for all you are,

To all the mothers,
The seeds you've sown will one day grow,
The roots dig deep that's why its slow,
Continue with your work because time will show,
Through your love and care, fruits will flow,

I'd like to end this poem by saying,
We really, truly, deeply, seriously, earnestly, sincerely love you,
And have a Happy Mother's Day.
