Installation And Appreciation Sunday

Last Sunday, May 3 2009, was a special Sunday and a memorable one. We had a special service to officially install our newly ordained senior pastor, Reverend Geoffrey Yee and the newly elected church board.

It was also an event to appreciate our previous but not forgotten beloved shepherd, Rev Luke Chan and also the interim pastor, Ps Erwin Ong. Also appreciated were the outgoing church board for their faithful service and also for those previous church board members who were re-elected into the current board. Last but not least to be appreciated were the church workers, who have laboured unceasingly and with sheer dedication.

This event made us reflect on how far we've come as a church all those years and of the long but exciting journey ahead. The sermon by Rev Michael Ho was truly inspiring with hints of humour and laughter added in for good measure. His sermon was entitled, "Equipped For Creative Impact-God's Way" which well suited the theme of the day.

To Pastor Luke, thank you so very much from the bottom of our hearts for your years of tireless service and love and passion for FCC!You will certainly not be forgotten.
